GAZA CITY (AFP) - A Palestinian woman was killed when Israeli troops raided the Rafah refugee camp in the southern Gaza Strip (news - web sites).

Muna Ahmad Ismail, 31, was shot in the head, medical sources said Wednesday, addding that the woman's brother and sister were also wounded.

The death brought the overall toll since the start of the Palestinian intifada in September 2000 to 3,705 people killed, including 2,773 Palestinians and 865 Israelis.

Earlier, medical sources and witnesses said a Palestinian teenager was seriously injured after being shot in the head by Israeli troops in the sprawling camp on the border with Egypt.

Another three Palestinians were wounded when Israeli troops opened fire near the Gush Khatif settlement bloc, further to the north in the the Gaza Strip, the sources said.
