Israelis In Tat-For-Tat Rocket Attack

Israeli aircraft have launched another airstrike on northern Gaza, attacking a car carrying Palestinian militants.Two rockets were also fired into Gaza on Friday morning following a missile attack by Palestinian militants.The missile attack came after the Israeli army killed a leading Islamic Jihad militant.

The Qassam rocket fell on empty ground just inside Israel causing no injury or damage, the military said.

Israeli helicopters repeatedly fired missiles at northern Gaza on Thursday and early on Friday.

They were aimed at areas where militants had fired rockets previously.

The tat-for-tat attacks are the latest in a series that are threatening the Middle East peace process.

Five Israelis were killed in a suicide bombing in Hadera on Wednesday.

In retaliation, the Israeli army fired missiles at a white Subaru car, killing Islamic Jihad's field commander in northern Gaza, Shadi Mohanna.
