HEBRON, West Bank (AFP) - Eight Palestinians were lightly injured overnight during clashes with Israeli troops near the southern West Bank town of Hebron.
During the night, troops pushed into the town of Dura where locals were celebrating Leilat al-Qader, the most important night of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
Locals began throwing stones and the soldiers broke up the disturbance with rubber bullets and tear gas, according to witnesses.
