Hamas official shot by West Bank gunmen

NABLUS, West Bank (AFP) - A Palestinian official with the ruling Hamas movement has been shot during a drive-up shooting in the northern occupied West Bank.
Ryad Walwil, 53, sustained gunshot wounds in his hand and leg after gunmen travelling in a car opened fire on him as he walked in Qalqiliya, before speeding away, security sources said Thursday.
Walwil was being treated in hospital.
