Human Rights Violations/killings 2003
Four days in hell
4-30 - Palestinian shepherdess shot dead by Israeli forces in Gaza Strip
They shot and killed an elderly shepherd in March too - Story.
4-28 - West Bank Checkpoint Numbers Case Probed
I don't think I even have to touch that one. It speaks for itself.
4-28 - Arafat Says Won't Be Sidelined, Criticizes Sharon
And another unarmed teen boy shot and killed.
4-26 - Palestinian Journalists Recall Colleague

4-26 - Activist's Parents Search for Answers
It's getting a little more difficult for the Israeli government to come up with
a good lie to cover their hide when there are so many credible eyewitnesses around. Maybe that's why
they keep trying to kill them.
4-23 - U.S. Press Watchdog "Outraged" by Israeli Killing of Palestinian Cameraman
From 4-16 - Israel criticized at UN Human Rights Commission
Evidently, this is the first time a resolution that condemned Israel was initiated by European countries. The tides are turning. Now
it's time for Americans to wake up and stop our vetoes of them.
Tom Hurndall died
4-20 - Israeli tanks raid Gaza town leaving five Palestinians, one Israeli dead
Headline should read "Israelis terrorize Palestinians in refugee camps". Israeli "incursion" should be changed to "invasion". They invade the refugee camps, looking for trouble, then when they get some - usually in the form of stonethrowers - they open fire on all.
Above story at Guardian - 2 teen boys killed along with others in this "incursion".
From 1999 - Israeli soldier shoots child in Hebron
From Feb. 2002 - Second pregnant woman shot by Israeli checkpoint troops
From Feb. 2002 - Palestinian woman gives birth after being shot
From April 2002 - Report on Jenin Also, Israel must cooperate with Jenin investigation Also - Europe Must Show Its Mettle and Punish Israel
From April 2002 - Across West Bank, daily tragedies go unseen
From Oct. 2002 - Israeli Army Shoots 16 Palestinians In Gaza Strip
From Dec. 2002 - Palestinian Girl Killed in Gaza; Israeli Troops Clash With Students in Bethlehem Another child shot in the head.
4-19 - APTN Cameraman Is Killed in Nablus
- Feingold is lying - the IDF routinely opens fire with live rounds on crowds
of youth. See this video here. There are numerous examples of this in articles scattered throughout the web.
IDF blamed the victim again. No apologetic tone, no nothing. Just sheer unbridled arrogance as usual. More about Mr. Darwazeh
.
4-19 - AP Cameraman Shot and Killed in West Bank
This story has more details of the shooting that are disturbing. Peace activists and cameramen wear
bulletproof vests. Perhaps that's why the IDF aim for the head as in this case, and the case
of Tom Hurndall. * Photo * Photo * Photo

Above story at Guardian
4-19 - Israeli Troops Kill Palestinian Cameraman in Nablus
Open season on cameramen now too.
4-18 - 4 Israeli Police Held in Youth's Death
4-18 - Relative says goodbye to boy who was shot for throwing rocks
From 4-17 - Israel detains French journalists wanting to film foreign peace activists
Terrorist sympathizers? Peace activists
work to protect the lives and property of Palestinian civilians. I'm not surprised that Israeli government officials
don't know how to make this distinction as, their actions with regard to inflicting casualties and punishment
on all Palestinians is in accordance with such a belief.
4-17 - Palestinian stonethrower shot dead as EU urges Arafat to approve cabinet
Same as below and this story lists his age as 16 like the one on the PA site. ISM REPORT states
the boy bled to death because Israelis held up the ambulance, a common occurrence.
4-17 - stonethrower shot dead I'm not sure
if this incident is the same as what was reported in this article where the IDF said
the individual was throwing petrol bombs - a common IDF excuse. This page says
this Yousef Al-yahia who was killed, was 15. The Yahoo article gives the age of 21.
4-17 - Hundreds of Palestinian Minors in Custody
Maj. Feingold, along with getting a brain, needs to learn the difference between stonethrowing
and suspicion of being "recruited to kill". Moron.
4-17 - Israelis Kill Palestinian in Passover Clampdown
There's that 'petrol bomb' excuse again.
UN chides Israel over Palestinians
How low can Israel go Israeli doctors lie and give little information to the parents of the British activist that the IDF shot. That government lies so much and with such an arrogance, it makes one wonder is there anyone there that has a conscience? It would be hard to believe.
4-15 - UN human rights forum condemns Israel for "mass killing"
4-14 - Israeli Supreme Court green-lights use of controversial flechette shells
In case you didn't already know, Israel has already been using flechette shells.
See Amnesty report here under "Killings of Palestinian Children", and the Ha'aretz article here. photo
of child and flechette shrapnel. Photo 2 Photo 3
Top 100 human rights offenders - Israel number 8. China, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Cuba
and more aren't as bad as Israel. And we reward Israel's bad behavior to the tune of billions per year, keep that in mind.
4-13 - Israeli army 'targeted' peace activist
Parents demand investigation. Story 2.
4-12 - Shot and killed for throwing rocks .
4-11 - Palestinians in unprecedented arms handover
- 'However, in a bizarre twist, military sources claimed they had no knowledge of such a shooting, despite admitting troops "offered medical assistance and airlifted him to a hospital in Beersheba."
' - about the British ISM activist. Detailed ISM report of the event.
Israeli army sniper leaves British peace activist brain-dead
These activists are like civlilans on patrol -
their mission is to protect the lives and property of the innocent civilians in Palestine. They are not armed,
and do not engage in violence. The Palestinians have no army. More and more though, the ISMers' wild card -
that Israeli troops would be less likely to fire on them - is becoming less effective. The soldiers have stepped up
their attacks on the activists in recent weeks. Long ago, there should have been international monitors in place
in the territories, as was sought by members of the UN a few times. We vetoed those resolutions - and again, we
were the only veto. Another report with some more details

British man was not killed - corrected report
An American was seriously injured in this same incident The British man died.
4-11 - Israeli Fire Critically Wounds British Activist
Story at the Guardian UK. I guess the Israelis have now stepped
up their attacks on the Internationals much like they've been doing to the Palestinians, since the demise of Saddam; working
without fear of reprisal from the biggest threat to Israel in the region. Israelis do not want Internationals there, they
make credible eyewitnesses to their atrocities, and get in the way of them. I was seconds ago reading about this memorial for Rachel Corrie here.
When will we do something about this situation? Clearly, the attacks are escalating on both Internationals and Palestinians.
4-10 - Israeli Missile Strike Kills Palestinian in Gaza
Another one. Extra-judicial assassinations are illegal under international law.
How many civilians died today? Is it any different than suicide bombings, especially when the
death toll since Sept. 2000 is 3:1 in Israel's favor? They killed 26 children in March alone.
Who is terrorizing whom? Again, it would appear that since Saddam is no longer a threat, the Israelis
have stepped up their attacks on the Palestinians and are now free to kill with total impunity - which seems
to have been the case anyway.
4-10 - 2 Israelis Killed in West Bank Shooting
- they opened fire at an Israeli military
base but it's unclear if they were Israeli soldiers who were killed. Yes, they were soldiers.
Extrajudicial assasinations violate international law Israel, violate
international law? Nooooooo... say it ain't so... List of UN resolutions Israel is
in violation of here. We vetoed a lot of them.
4-9 - Right-wing Jewish group claims blast in Palestinian school
In case you didn't already know, early Jewish gangs Irgun and Stern used terror
to drive the British and Palestinians out in the 40s and beyond - source, source, source. A lot of these
extremists later became leaders of Israel. Settlers, some of whom are armed, routinely
rampage through Palestinian villages sometimes breaking into the houses and harassing the villagers.

4-9 - Two more Palestinians killed by Israeli forces raiding Gaza
Another child shot and killed, and a 36-year old man.
4-9 - Israel defends missile attacks on Gaza City that killed seven
Stonethrower also killed, and a boy wounded in last month's Jabalya refugee camp shelling also died. See the
videos of that attack at the bottom of this page.
Reuters story of the stonethrower shot. It is not
acceptable to shoot and kill kids who throw stones. These people need their head examined.

4-8 - Israeli Air Attack Kills Seven Palestinians

Same story at Independent UK - once again, Israeli forces waited until
a crowd gathered around the car after the first missile strike, to fire two more, injuring civilians.
Story at BBC
Story at Australian news site
4-8 - Witnesses: Israelis Fire at Car in Gaza
With the threat of attacks by Saddam diminishing each day, Israel is free
to do whatever it wants to the Palestinians.
4-8 - Israelis face West Bank charges
From November: Irish ISM activist shot Some testimony from her about the British UN
worker who was gunned down by the Israelis as noted above. There is becoming a pattern established
of the lying on the part of the IDF with each of these shootings/bulldozing of ISM activists. Not a surprise.
For over 35 years, the Israeli government has lied about the deliberate attack on the USS Liberty.
4-7 - ISM report on the activist shooting by the IDF The AP won't set the record straight.
4-7 - Israeli Troops Fatally Shoot Palestinian
4-7 - Palestinian found dead, several others wounded in territories
On West Bank, fear of 'dangerous precedent'

IDF trying to spin their way out of this one - they fired
at the feet of the ISM activists as described in the above ISM report, it did ricochet, but only because
these soldiers fired at the ground in front of them, much like they did to these activists last April. It
was deliberate on that occasion, and so too was it deliberate on this one.
4-5 - Israeli Troops Kill Palestinian Intruder
That 14-year old Palestinian boy was shot in the back
"Every day we expect them to come back, we live in fear and terror every day," - I couldn't agree more with the last line in the article.
Nablus Photo Album at BBC
Israeli troops searching for Palestinian militants in Qalqiliya late last night shot and killed a 14-year-old Palestinian when he opened his door to look at troops outside, witnesses said
4-3 - Six Palestinians die in Israeli raids, 1,000 told to leave home in searches
4-3 - Israeli Forces Kill 6 in Gaza, W. Bank
- They shot dead a 14-year old boy outside his home. I'm guessing he committed the grave
offense of violating curfew?
4-2 - Two Palestinians killed in Israeli raid on Gaza Strip, over 100 reported killed in past month
4-2 - More than 100 Palestinians killed by Israeli army in March: official
4-2 - Israel Holds 2,000 W.Bank Palestinians - Witnesses
- These 'suspected militants' rarely if ever get due process. See Omar Al-Titi's story here.
4-2 - Send in the bulldozers: what Israel told marines about urban battles
- It is another Palestine, and I'm deeply disappointed that my
government would take any cues from an immoral army such as this one.
4-1 - US withdraws copies of human rights report due to Israel criticism
State Dept report of Human Rights issues in Palestine
4-1 - Israel sends six soldiers to guard lone West Bank settler
- This war is and has always been about the land. Same story
at Independent
3-31 - U.S. cites Israel, Palestinians, China for human rights abuses
3-30 - Suicide Attack Wounds 30 on Israel Coast
I'm very sorry for the injuries. But I want to point out that
within the last week, 3 children were shot dead by Israeli soldiers and a 17 year old rockthrower was
shot dead yesterday. These deaths did not make the front page of Yahoo or any other American news agency,
but this bomber did. It's media bias, and it is part of the problem. Palestinian lives are not given
the same value as Israeli lives by our press, and that has to stop.
West loses interest as Middle East burns
3-29 - Israeli Troops Kill Youth in West Bank - Witnesses
- It is not justified to shoot a kid who throws rocks. This IDF excuse of "they were throwing petrol bombs" is common and would appear to be BS.
It's not justified, and Americans pay for the bullet. Remember that next time you wonder
why the "Arab Street" hates us. Now you know.
3-28 - Israel Offers Humanitarian Aid for Iraq to U.N.
The height of hypocrisy. Israel starves the Palestinians
by forcing all manner of checkpoints that often won't allow the aid to get in, and yet
we are to believe these same Israelis are altruistic and want to help the Iraqis. Right.
3-28 - Israelis trained US troops in Jenin-style urban warfare
Good God, keep our boys away from these immoral IDF soldiers. Please do not tell me that we are going to do to Iraq
what Israel is/has done to the Palestinians. Why will we need to send bulldozers into Iraq? This article
also details what the Israelis did in Jenin last April, a most gruesome and horrific event.
I wonder how our men felt about that?
3-28 - "From Hell" - 3/28 - Tom reprts from occupied Palestine -
- ISM activist reports from Palestine, includes report of the girl that was shot, and the IDF invasion of the ISM office.
The ten-year old girl killed by IDF yesterday buried - she was a Christian
3-27 - Another man shot today - unarmed civilian.
Gaza raid 'kills two Palestinians'
"241 Palestinians had died since the beginning of the year
" - Many of them were civilians. Who is terrorizing whom?
American Woman Beaten, Robbed by Gang of Settlers Story 2 Story 3 - 2 elderly Americans beat up by settlers from October.

3-24 - Palestinian teen killed by Israeli troops in Jenin
Story 2
3-24 - Israeli military dismantles illegal Jewish settlement
- teen killed also.
3-20 - Palestinians 'not given gas masks'
- I think that this move is the ultimate example of the Israeli government using the Palestinians as human shields.
International, Israeli, Palestinian health workers call on Israeli Government to guarantee health workers protection
WHO, press release, 15 March 2003
3-17 - Five Killed in Gaza Refugee Camp Raid - the slaughter of Palestinians continues unabated - including the death of a four-year old girl. And hours after the fact, the Israeli government is still trying to whitewash the bulldozer incident.
It suddenly dawned on the bulldozer driver that the windows were too small and he couldn't see Ms. Corrie. Right. Check out all of the photos here, and see for yourself if that's
plausible. Also, listen to the eyewitness account in the audio file of the UK activist who was there.
Palestinians caged in beach paradise - there is just no reason for this. It must end as soon as possible. This is what we are supporting, America, with our tax dollars and UN vetoes.
"It's a thousand times better to go to Israel and blow yourself up and go to heaven than living like this." - Suicide bombings are disgusting and horrible acts - read this article and look into the world of the
daily life for Palestinians.
