Palestinian President Yasser Arafat lights a flame outside his office in the West Bank city of Ramallah, June 26, 2004. Arafat told foreign diplomats he was committed to a truce during the August Olympics in Greece. `I announce our commitment and respect of the Olympic truce,` said Arafat, in reference to an ancient Greek tradition in which hostilities ceased during the games to allow athletes and spectators to arrive at the festivities and return safely. It was unclear if he meant the cease fire to include militant groups, all of whom had no immediate comment. REUTERS/Loay Abu Haykel
