Backdropped by a section of the separation barrier

Backdropped by a section of the separation barrier being built by Israel, a Palestinian boy plays ball on the roof of his house in the West Bank town of Bethlehem Wednesday June 30, 2004. Israel`s Supreme Court ruled Wednesday that Israel will have to change the route of its barrier in a 40 km. section in a different area north of Jerusalem as the barrier current route causes `severe injury` to the life of Palestinian residents. Nevertheless the ruling does not apply to the Bethlehem section of the barrier that, according to the planned route, will surround the town on three sides and isolate its residents from Jerusalem.
